These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Orbit Bola!! ("the Service"), an individually operated Space Situational Awareness (SSA) platform. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Orbit Bola!! provides a Space Situational Awareness API that offers access to orbital data including satellite positions, Two-Line Element sets (TLEs), Orbit Mean-Elements Messages (OMMs), and Conjunction Data Messages (CDMs). The Service normalizes and processes publicly available data from Space-Track.org and CelesTrak.

3. User Accounts

  • You must authenticate via Google or GitHub OAuth to access the Service.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your API keys and must not share them with unauthorized parties.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized use of your account or API keys.

4. API Usage & Rate Limits

The Service offers the following usage tiers:

  • Free — 100 API calls per day
  • Starter, Pro, Enterprise — Coming Soon

We reserve the right to throttle or suspend access if usage patterns indicate abuse or place excessive load on our infrastructure. Rate limits may be adjusted at our discretion.

5. Data Sources & Accuracy

The orbital data provided through the Service is sourced from publicly available datasets including Space-Track.org and CelesTrak. While we strive to provide accurate and timely data:

  • The data is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data.
  • The Service should not be used as the sole basis for safety-of-flight decisions or collision avoidance maneuvers.
  • Users are responsible for independently verifying any data critical to their operations.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Service
  • Resell or redistribute API access without our prior written consent
  • Use automated means to scrape or collect data beyond your plan limits

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Orbit Bola!!. Orbital data sourced from public providers retains its original licensing terms. Your use of the API does not grant you ownership of any data or content you access through the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orbit Bola!! and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
